What is SEDO in AFU and how to submit documents through this system?

What is SEDO?

SEDO — System of electronic document circulation Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a digital platform for submitting official documents (reports, statements, applications, reports) without paper circulation. Works through a web portal or a mobile application (depends on the part).

How to submit a report through SEDO

1. Log in to SEDO (via the application or browser, according to the access data from the commander).
2. Create a new document (type: report, statement, request).
3. Fill in the fields: addressee, subject (exact reference to the law), text of the document, attachments (certified copies).
4. Submit the document. The system will issue a unique ID - save it.
5. Track the status of the review through the system.

Advantages of SEDO

• Official status — documents from SEDO have legal force as paper ones.
• Tracking — a unique ID allows you to control the review.
• Archive — all submitted documents are stored in electronic form.
• Speed — shortening the terms of transfer of documents between divisions.

If SEDO does not work

In case of technical problems with SEDO, documents are submitted by paper in two copies (with the entry number of the office). This is enshrined in the Statute of the Internal Service.
