The third mechanized battalion 160th Mechanized Brigade is a combat unit of the Ground Forces of Ukraine. We build our service on training, systematicity, teamwork and professional development of personnel.
We strive for each member of the military to occupy a position where their experience, skills and motivation bring the greatest benefit to the unit. Training, adaptation and interaction are an integral part of the service.

Analytical thinking, working with software and electronics find direct application in aerial reconnaissance, electronic warfare and digital battle management.
No decorations. Before deciding on the service, you should understand what awaits you. Service is discipline, workload, responsibility and work in war conditions.
Unit security is based on discipline. Strict observance of subordination, rules for handling weapons and BC, light masking and radio silence mode. Any violation puts the location at risk.
You don't have to know everything before the service starts. Mandatory are 30 or 51 days Basic Combined Arms Training (BCAT) in the training center, professional training and coordination in the unit. In the future - regular training to maintain and develop skills.
The infantry is not left alone: every step on the front lines is accompanied by the "eyes" of reconnaissance drones, the dome EW and artillery cover. Work is conducted exclusively in pairs and groups with permanent secure communication.
The official relation of part A4977 establishes the agreed position. Your civilian experience determines the role. You work according to the assignment and if you fulfill the assigned tasks, then the role remains yours.
Be ready for field life at any time of the year, equipment weight 12-16 kg, night shifts and a high pace. We guarantee healthy nutrition, rotations from the front line, time to recover in comfortable conditions and medical supervision.
Stable financial support from 50,000 to 120,000 ₴ per month in the war zone (up to 300,000 ₴ on the front line) without delays. We provide all necessary equipment. Combat Veteran Status status and state social guarantees.
30 days of paid vacation per year + road time, travel abroad and a guaranteed rotation schedule.

For citizens aged 18–24, contract service is available with a defined selection process, training, and the ability to choose the direction of service in accordance with the needs of the unit and one's own skills.
