Your main responsibilities:
Search, detection and direction-finding of enemy radio-electronic means (radio stations, SIGINT stations, radar,
control channels UAV) on the battalion's line of responsibility.
Conducting electronic intelligence (SIGINT): interception of open and coded conversations, recording
frequencies, determining the coordinates of radio radiation sources and transmitting data to fire weapons.
Radio electronic suppression (REP) of communication lines and control channels of enemy UAV, radio stations and systems
navigation (GPS/GLONASS) using suppression stations of the type "Bukvel", "Lilya", "Pokrovnyk" and
similar
Ensuring the protection of the battalion's own means of communication and control from the technical intelligence of the enemy:
control of radio discipline, checking of frequencies, use of directional antennas and minimum modes
power
Deploying, setting up and operating EW stations in combat conditions: choosing positions with consideration
terrain and radio visibility, rapid movement in case of threat of detection and fire damage (tactics
"fired - changed position").
Interact with UAV units, artillery and entrenchment groups: warning of FPV drone threats, securing
corridors for the operation of own drones, suppression of enemy repeaters and control points.
Analysis of the electronic situation, recording of frequencies and radio interception, drawing up schemes
of the radio-electronic situation in the direction of the battalion's actions.
Minor repair and maintenance of equipment EW: replacement of antennas, power supply units, cable restoration
lines, work with measuring devices (spectrum analyzers, frequency meters - we will teach).
